Mother-Wise is a friendly, volunteer-based Home Visiting Program for expecting and new moms.

They have Weekly Moms' Groups also.  These groups are inviting and open to all moms in the area.  Each week there is a topic that is discussed and moms have time to chat with each other about anything going on in their life.  Children are welcome to attend and find new friends to play with.
Groups are:

Lakeport every Tuesday from 1-3 in our office, 180 N. Main Street.

They have a Mom-to-Mom Donation Closet:  Maternity and baby items through size 5t available to any Lake County resident on a first come first serve basis.  Donations accepted too.
Referrals to other local programs are processed through Mother-Wise to help connect families with all available help.

Screening for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, most commonly know being Postpartum Depression are provided.  They have a wonderful group of volunteers who can visit moms in their own homes and provide support.

Like them on Facebook to get information on our weekly topics and other local programs and join their private Facebook Moms' Group for local moms to get and give support to each other in a friendly, non-judgmental environment:  Mother-Wise MOM.
